How do I request insurance pharmacy reimbursement & childhood vaccinations?

 

At Caser Expat Insurance, we prioritize the well-being of your family and understand the potential financial impact of expenses related to pharmacy and children’s vaccinations. That’s why we offer you a pharmacy reimbursement program that facilitates the refund of up to 50% of the amount of the bills, with a maximum of €100 per insured person per year. To take advantage of this benefit, just keep reading.

HOW TO REQUEST YOUR PHARMACY REIMBURSEMENT AND CHILDHOOD VACCINES? 

To apply for reimbursement of pharmacy expenses and childhood vaccines, follow these simple steps:

1. Gather the necessary documentation:

  • Invoice of purchase of the medicine.
  • Prescription for the medicine.

2. Choose the reimbursement method:

  • Online: Log in to your Client Area and select the "Reembolsos" option.
  • By post: Fill out the application form and mail it to Avenida de Burgos, 109, 28050 (Madrid), along with the original invoice and proof of payment.

3. Receive your refund:

The reimbursement will be made to the same account used for health insurance payment or to an account you indicate when applying online.

The refund process is completed within a maximum of 15 working days.

 

UNDER WHAT CIRCUMSTANCES ARE EXPENSES REIMBURSED?

We offer reimbursement in the following scenarios:

Medicines: Purchased in Spain and prescribed by a professional from Caser's medical team to treat illnesses suffered by the insured person.

Childhood Vaccinations: Applied to children up to 15 years of age, prescribed by a paediatrician and forming part of the official calendar published annually by the Spanish Association of Paediatrics.

 

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO BENEFIT FROM THIS AID?

The only requirement is to be a Caser Expat Health Insurance policyholder in one of the following modalities: Caser Activa, Caser Integral or Caser Prestigio.
