Written by Barbara de Swaan | May 25, 2021 11:36:43 AM

Spain is so big compared to many other EU countries and therefor Spain has so many different hospitals. Which are the best hospitals in Spain we ask ourselves?

In general, medical care has a really high level in Spain. This means that you will be treated well in as good as every hospital. Some hospitals simply attract the best specialists and for important health issues, this can make a difference. They might have better equipment or more up to date treatments.

Before you decide to take out a private health insurance, make sure that the insurance company offers these hospitals and has an extensive medical guide to chose from. All these hospitals work together with Caser Seguros.

We advise our clients to write down the nearest hospital for emergencies both in their phone and on a note on their fridge. The reason is that in case of real emergency, you do not want to have to look for the hospital that you can visit. In such situations, every minute counts.
